We are partnering with the Sock Monkey Museum, from Long Grove, IL, to teach you the art of sock monkeys! Their expert instructors will lead you through the entire monkey-making process from start to finish, and at the end, you'll get to take home your very own sock monkey friend! All materials will be provided.

Spaces are very limited for this program, so pre-registration is required. This program will be located in The Canvas. 

Registration begins on November 17th at 1pm!

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
