Building a sustainable, income-generating author business is possible. Sharon Woodhouse will share her seven pillars for creating an author life you love, why an entrepreneurial approach is the best path for most authors, and practical steps you can take today.

 

Sharon Woodhouse was the founder and publisher of Lake Claremont Press, a Chicago-based indie publisher for more than 25 years. She is the owner of Conspire Creative, an entrepreneurship agency for authors and publishers offering coaching, consulting, project management and business strategy services.

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
