Glenn Earich, the Caregiver Outreach Specialist at North Shore Senior Center, will provide Caregivers with self-care advice and resources to avoid burnout and help them best support their Care Recipient's needs.
Glenn Earich has been with the North Shore Senior Center since 2020. He has served as Caregiver Outreach Specialist in the Caregiver Support Program since 2023, working directly with Caregivers to provide needed resources, as well as, spreading awareness of these services to the community. Glenn also uses improvisation to increase communication skills with Adults Diagnosed with Dementia and their Caregivers.
The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
