While the world of whiskey is wide and diverse, Bourbon and Scotch are arguably the two most popular styles being consumed. These whiskeys are so unique, that they have both built a loyal following. In this class, we will sip our way through the differences and similarities of raw ingredients, distillation process, terroir, and aging. Explore what you like about each spirit, and why whiskey has an optional "e". Presented by Ambrosia Borowski, General Manager/Spirits Director, The Northman.
Tasting included. Adults 21 and older may register.
Registrants please notify us if you are unable to attend so that we may offer your place to another patron.
The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
