4th Floor Forum

Create a sparkling moon-and-butterfly suncatcher with this beginner-friendly acrylic diamond painting craft. A relaxing DIY project that adds beautiful shimmer to your décor.

Supplies will be provided after the demonstration so you can either take the project home or complete it at the library.

Please register for one of the sessions- Saturday, June 20 or Friday, June 26 by calling the Reference Desk at 847.376.2841 or online at dppl.org on or after June 10.

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
