ESL (English as a Second Language) Class - Oakton College

• Teaches listening, speaking, reading, writing, and conversation skills
• Introduces students to U.S. culture
• Designed for adults 16 years and older whose native language is not English and who are not enrolled in high school.

The class meets Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:15am - 12:15pm. The class meets from July 2 - August 25. For more information, call Oakton College: 847.635.1426 or e-mail adulted@oakton.edu

The 1501 Ellinwood Street library building is the realization of a longheld dream of the library board, staff and community partners. Located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines, the four story, 82,000 square foot building represents the community's commitment to reading, lifelong learning, and a center for family activities. A grand central staircase and large windows provide a wealth of natural light and illuminate the building at night.
